The waterproof DC to DC Charger allows for charging on the go while protecting your RV and Boat components and maintaining the correct voltage of the starting battery.
1. Boost charge
Charger will charge at the maximum current until the battery voltage reaches the constant voltage charging voltage.
2. Constant voltage charge
When the battery voltage obtains a boost charging voltage, the current begins to fall and enters a constant voltage charging mode
3. Floating charge
After the constant voltage mode is completed, the floating charge. The charge current will decrease and a float charge is maintained. When the battery is full, the current will automatically drop to 0A.
When the engine is started and the starting battery (input) is greater than 13V, the DC to DC charger will begin output charge. When the voltage of the starting (input) battery is lower than 13V, the output is turned off to protect the starting battery from draining.
